At the Every Hour Counts National Conference, Let’s Make Waves!, you are invited to gather to discuss what’s possible to engage, empower, and support young people. Participants will explore how to develop community-wide solutions with young people and leaders from across communities. Join forward-thinking leaders—intermediary leaders, community providers, school district representatives, policymakers, funders, researchers, and youth to make some waves. Get Inspired. Participants will share stories and seek advice with on-the-ground system leaders who represent a diverse range of perspectives. In interactive sessions with passionate speakers, you’ll encounter illuminating perspectives to inform policy and practice in your communities. 

Identify Solutions. Engage in strategic conversations with community leaders from across the country to identify solutions that advance the future of afterschool and learning. 

Strategize to Center Youth. Every Hour Counts leaders are passionate about engaging and partnering with young people. At this conference, learn how to center youth voice in your local work with both the philosophies and realities needed for systemic change. 

Advance Racial Equity. Engage in discussions designed to educate, enlighten, and empower action to foster racially equitable systems and dismantle systemic racism. 

Make Connections. Interact with creative thinkers and innovators from across the youth development field and foster new collaborations. 

Community teams are encouraged to register; Individuals are also invited.

Accommodations & Travel

All attendees are responsible for booking their accommodations and travel to the conference. 

Accommodations

We have set up a room block at the Hilton West Palm Beach Hotel, where the conference is being hosted. Rooms are available at a discounted group rate of $219 plus tax. We recommend you book your rooms as soon as possible as we expect the room block to sell out. Please use the booking link in your confirmation email to book accommodations. The deadline to use the discounted booking link is May 9th.

Travel

The conference begins on Tuesday, May 30th with registration and networking from 3:00pm - 5:00pm and an informal reception from 5:30pm - 7:00pm. We officially kick off Wednesday, May 31st at 8:00am. We recommend arriving to West Palm Beach on May 30th. The conference ends Thursday, June 1 at 4:00pm ET.

Please note: Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is the closest airport to the hotel. If you need more flight options, Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) is the next closest airport.


Event Policies

By attending this conference, you agree to adhere to the event policies outlined below.

I understand that by registering for this event, I agree to be photographed and/or filmed and give permission to use my likeness in promotional and/or marketing materials.

Tickets are non-refundable. If you are no longer able to attend, you can transfer your registration to another person if you notify us by May 17.

Liability: I hereby waive, release and discharge any and all rights or claims which I may have against Every Hour Counts, ExpandED Schools, Canvas Meetings & Incentives, its sponsors, their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, members, staff and independent contractors as a result of my participation at this event. Further, I agree to defend, indemnify and hold Every Hour Counts and all its sponsors harmless against any and all claims, actions or suits which may be brought as a result of damages or losses sustained as a result of participation in the program.
Every Hour Counts will comply with all World Health Organization or Center for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines, as appropriate, in addition to national and local guidelines to ensure a safe environment for everyone. Attendees are expected to respect the protocols that have been put in place for the conference and act responsibly. Every Hour Counts will continue to monitor developments and will provide more specifics on COVID protocols by May 1, 2023.

Any attendee that receives a positive COVID-19 test result or experiences any illness symptoms within 72 hours prior to, or during, the Conference is requested to refrain from attending the Conference.
