At the Every Hour Counts National Conference, we'll gather to discuss what’s possible to engage, empower, and support young people. We'll will explore how to develop community-wide solutions with leaders from across communities.

Get Inspired. Participants will share stories and seek advice with on-the-ground system leaders who represent a diverse range of perspectives. In interactive sessions with passionate speakers, you’ll encounter illuminating perspectives to inform policy and practice in your communities.
Identify Solutions. Engage in strategic conversations with community leaders from across the country to identify solutions that advance the future of afterschool and learning.
Lead the Charge. Build momentum to drive impactful policy and advocacy efforts that prioritize equiltale access and opportunities for all young people. Together, we will amplify our collective voice to influence systems, and help shape policy and create lasting change for the afterschool field. We will highlight policymaker relationship-building, communications, field organizing strategies that will generate creative thinking amongst peers about what's possible in their advocacy work.
Strategize to Center Youth. Learn how to center youth voice in your local work with both the philosophies and realities needed for systemic change.
Advance Racial Equity. Engage in discussions designed to educate, enlighten, and empower action to foster racially equitable systems and dismantle systemic racism.
Make Connections. Interact with creative thinkers and innovators from across the youth development field and foster new collaborations.
Who should attend? This conference is for leaders from cities, states and communities across the nation dedicated to youth development. If you are interested in creative cross-sector solutions, the Every Hour Counts Conference is the place for you.
Community teams are encouraged to attend. Individuals will find like-minded colleagues who want to share and strategize.

All attendees are responsible for booking their accommodations and travel to the conference.
Accommodations
We have set up a discounted rate at the Marriott City Center Hotel, where the conference is being hosted. Rooms are available at a discounted group rate of $249 plus tax. We recommend you book your rooms as soon as possible as we expect the room block to sell out due to other events taking place in the city during this time.

Travel
The conference begins on Wednesday, May 14th with registration starting at 2 pm and a deep dive session on policy and advocacy from 2:30-5pm. We will host an informal reception from 6-8 pm. The conference opening plenary begins on Thursday, May 15th at 8:30 am. We recommend arriving to Minneapolis by 2 pm on May 14th. The conference ends at 2:30 pm on Friday, May 16th.
Full participation in the conference is strongly recommended.
